2008: Reserve running back and special teams performer... Saw action in all 13 games... Credited with three tackles, including a pair on punt coverage... Made his debut at running back against North Texas and gained six yards on three attempts.

2007 Finished fifth on the team with five special teams tackles, four of them on kickoff coverage to tie for third on the team.... Made his debut against Baylor on special teams... Credited with his first two career tackles on special teams against Houston... Also credited with special teams tackles against UTEP, SMU and Tulane.

High School -- 2007 graduate of Poteet High School in the Dallas-Fort Worth area... Unanimous all-District 10-4A selection while playing on both sides of the ball for coach Charlie Hesse... Rushed for 1,425 yards on 185 carries while scoring 21 TDs and added another 432 in receiving yards... Honorable mention all-state selection... Rushed for 3,523 yards and scored 39 touchdowns in his career... Scored four touchdowns in a playoff loss to Lake Dallas, featuring fellow Rice freshman Justin Hill, who also scored four times...First-team academic all-state...
