Rice Saw considerable playing time at right tackle as a redshirt freshman and looks to build on that effort this spring.
2008: Athletic tackle who started three of the first four at right tackle and then split time in a rotation with Jake Hicks over the final nine games... Moved over to the left side against Southern Miss after Scott Mitchell was injured early in the game... Became the first freshman since David Berken and Austin Wilkinson in 2005 to start a season opener on the O-line when he lined up a right tackle vs. SMU. High School -- 2007 graduate of Ardmore High School in Ardmore, OK... All-state and all-district selection as a senior for coach Mike Lloyd... Named the District 5A-I Lineman of the Year and selected to play in the Oklahoma Football Coaches Association all-star game, the Oil Bowl, in July... Ranked as the third best line prospect in Oklahoma by Rivals.com... Parish graded out at 90 percent, and allowed only two players to get past him to record quarterback sacks... Member of the National Honor Society and named a Blue Ribbon Scholar.
