2008: Made the successful transition back to the defensive line and was recognized as honorable mention All C-USA by league coaches... Started 11 of 13 games and finished with 28 tackles, while leading the defensive front with four passes broken up... Broke up a pass vs. Houston that Brian Raines intercepted and returned to set up the Owls' fourth touchdown of the day... Credited with a season-high six tackles at UTEP. ..Broke up a pair of passes at Tulane... Credited with five tackles, and shared his first sack, in his second start at DT at Memphis... credited with 2.5 sacks in the first three games of the season.
