HOUSTON - Head coach Greg Williams announced Tuesday that Brittney Hudson has left the women's basketball program.

"We appreciate and thank Brittney for all of her hard work and effort she gave over this past season," head coach Greg Williams said. "We wish her the best as she continues her career."

Hudson appeared in 31 games averaging 3.5 points and 3.0 rebounds per game during her freshman season. She scored in double figures during three conference games, including a career-best 18 points on 7-of-14 shooting against UTEP (Jan. 6).
