Rice -- 2008: All-Central Region (NSCAA/SoccerBuzz second team); All-Conference USA (first team); C-USA Commissioner's Academic Medalist; C-USA Academic Honor Roll; C-USA All Academic (first team); Two-time C-USA Player of the Week (Sept. 29, Oct. 6); Earned the team's Player of the Year award and was named the Owls' offensive MVP... Led the team and tied for second in the conference with nine goals... Finished third in the league for points per game (1.06)... Scored goals in six different games, including two in wins over Tulsa, Marshall and UTSA... The three two-goal games were the most by an Owl in three years... Scored the game-winning goals against Marshall and Tulsa... Also scored against UCF in the conference tournament and in victories over Southern Miss and McNeese State... Assisted on only one goal, but it was on Erin Scott's game-winner vs. Colorado College... Averaged 2.2 shots per game and took a season-high six shots twice... Rarely came out of a game, playing 1,768 of the team's total 1,954 minutes (90.5 percent)... Played 90 or more minutes seven times... The only time to play less than 70 minutes was when the Owls coasted to a convincing 4-1 win over Stephen F. Austin... Scored three goals, including the game-winner against C-USA foe UAB... Registered five assists... Twice assisted on the Owls' game-winning goal (vs. Dartmouth and Lamar)... Came forward to take seven shots against Houston Baptist... Tied the Rice school record for assists in a single game with three against crosstown foe Texas Southern... Assisted on the game-winning goal in the 1-0 win over eighth-ranked Texas... Set up the game-tying goal in the come-from behind win over Mississippi State... One of only three Owl freshmen to play in every game... Made eight starts, working her way into starting assignments for each of the final three games of the year... Played a career-long 96 minutes in the C-USA clash at Memphis...
